does 'dssw-power manager' override system energy saver?

Hello,

Have been having some bug bearers with the energy saver recently and have resorted to a power manager.

But, does anyone know from experience of using this app, if it overrides the system engird saver settings,

ie - if i set a sleep preference in PowerManager, will my macs sleep preference be running along side it ?


Is it wise to turn it off completely - ?
