Does Facebook work 100% for anyone on iOS 5?

I am getting the no internet error when trying to post a reply to somebody's status update. Is this happening to everyone?
 
Happened to me before iOS 5, used to happen on 4.3.3 as well, also it only seemed to appear after facebook updated their app.
 
it's never worked 100% since it came out a few years ago!! lol.


but seriously, i get the no internet thing when on 3G sometimes, it works fine on wifi tho
 
That happens to me and I'm on iOS 4. It's a problem with the actual App itself. I've never had such a popular App constantly not push notifications in a timely fashion, show the "No Internet Connection/Try Again", and constantly crash.
 
LOL, Facebook app has NEVER worked 100%. It's the single most buggy app I've ever used.
 
It's facebooks crap app. Yes it's free, so you can't complain too much. But it amazes me that a company as HUGE and RICH as facebook puts out such buggy material. Especially considering how big the iPhone is. You would think facebook would want a nice, stable app on such a popular phone.
 
Never worked properly for me on IOS 4. :mad:

Wish they'd rewrite the silly thing, it's the app I use most & the app that's the most bug ridden.
 
I have never had this issue on iOS 4, in fact I reverted back to 4.3.3 just for FB and it has been working fine.
 
Facebook works for me about 75% of the time on iOS5
Safari is not working at all, using opera mini instead.

Also with facebook and notifications I have been getting all of my facebook notifications (some a bit late)

So you can go to news feed on the app, and comment on friends posts?
 
My iPhone is on iOS5 and the fb app wasn't working for about 75% of the time, I deleted it and put a bookmark of the webpage instead, lost of notifications and the so call chat, but its so much better. On 4.3.3. was sightly better.
 
As everyone else has said it never has worked the way it should on the iphone which has REALLY pissed me off, I could list the issues but it could take all day but here's 2 i have noticed since upgrading to iOS 5

1. No Internet Connection, Try Again
2. Try and reply to a comment or a message would prevent me from seeing the text box, meaning i can't see what i'm typing and even worse the send button was covered too so you couldn't send the message anyway !!!
