Hello, I got a MacBook Pro 17" (2010 model) running Snow Leopard. I am considering to buy FaceTime to communicate with friends who use the iPad 2. Does it work well? From the Customer Reviews, I found that the communication between Mac and iPhone does not work. Not sure about the communication between MBP and iPad 2. Thanks.

My brother has a MUCH older MB than you do and he can "call" me on FT on both my March 2011 MBP and on my iPad2, no issues.

Works good amongst all Apple devices with a forward facing camera, and the Macs must have OS 10.6.6 or better All devices must be connected to a WIFI network in order to use facetime. I was facetiming with a friend from my Mac to his iPhone in the Dominican Republic on Vaca with no issues.
