Does FIOS offer 4K cable service? If so is it worth considering for our new 4K TV?

Today we had our first 4K tv installed. Does FIOS offer 4K cable service and is it worth considering!

If this is solely WiFi based, then I am reluctant. Because of our apartment’s construction, WiFi performance, is at best, mediocre.

Can this be done through a traditional cable box?

What leads you to believe that the FIOS setup is "solely Wifi based"?
Although you would get a better answer if you contact the FIOS folks, that short article DOES say

... set top boxes can be connected wirelessly with WiFi connectivity or through traditional coax.

Yes, you can surely connect Fios Tv one boxes with the help of coax adapter.

Unless something changed, only the steaming options available in the Fios TV box offer 4k streaming. Regular TV would not.
