Hey,
it seems with 2.0 that when you use gps in the map, and the quit the application, gps continues to run.... thus draining the battery until you go into settings and manually turn it off.
though with 2.1, there is slightly different behavior. when you turn on a map and do something that requires gps, it asks for you to turn it on by offering a shortcut to settings... it doesn't do so when you just click on yes...
shouldn't gps sleep when you quit the program you were using that required it?
thanks,
r.
