Does having lots of music files slow down the overall performance of the IP4?

I am about to purchase my first iphone,cant decide between the 32 or 16gb versions.This topic will help sway me in either direction.If I were to put 16gb of music in the 32gb ip4 would that make the phone's overall speed and responsiveness the same as a 16gb version with no music assuming they both had the same applications??

No, I have the iPhone 4 16gb and only have 1gb space and it runs great
