Earlier today I chatted with T-Mobile and after showing him the Reddit post about getting the esim working with post paid we went through the process and it works a treat! I'm now using my TMobile line as primary and my UK 3 physical sim as secondary.

My question is does anyone know if this setup will have a (noticable) impact on the battery life?

EDIT: I found a very similar thread and the answer appears to be no, https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/impact-of-dual-sim-on-battery-life.2159359/

I would agree that the answer seems to be a no. I've had an eSIM and physical SIM running on T-Mobile ever since it was possible to do it, and I have noticed no degradation in battery life.
