Does Home app back up to iCloud, want to set up iPhone 7 as new phone

Got my iPhone 7 coming in the post today and wondered whether iCloud is storing all of my Home settings and rooms etc?

I want to set yp as a new phone but not sure if it will give me back all of my Home settings along with the usual contacts, notes, etc. Anyone know?

Yes it saves to your iCloud account. I edit it on my iPhone and the edits show up on my iPad.
