So I've just uploaded a load of photos and videos to the drive. On my Mac, this folder full of media takes 11GB of space. I pasted it into the iCloud drive folder in finder and left it uploading overnight, and by morning it was done.
This is where it gets confusing; I've checked what's in drive through iCloud.com and everything seems to be there, pictures and videos play normally, and the number of files matches what's in Finder on Mac.
However, have the Monity widget which claims I've only uploaded 6GB over night, and when checking the folder from my iPhone (through settings) it says it's 8.5GB in size.
Anyone else spotted something similar? Could there be compression going on during upload?
