Does iCloud Health sync transfer activity app data and achievements?

I know I can transfer all this over with an iCloud / encrypted iTunes backup, but as I have iCloud Health sync turned on I was wondering whether, if I set up my upcoming iPhone X as new and pair my AW to it as a new watch, will my data from the Activity app and achievements etc. sync back to the new phone / watch from iCloud or does the iCloud sync only transfer the basic Health data that you can see via the Health app?
