Does iMac G5 support A2DP?

Interested in buying Plantronics Puksar 590 for my iMac G5 Rev B:

Any idea if it will pair with the iMac without using an adapter? It says that:

"For stereo sound, Bluetooth-enabled devices must support the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)."

Does the iMac G5 support A2DP?

According to the developer notes the current iMac G5 does not support that profile.

Useful site that one. It seems to have sped up recently too, it used to be as slow as an old dog.

Note: The Bluetooth module and AirPort Extreme module are on the same physical card.

I never realised that. Interesting.
