there is someone I follow on IG that attends numerous conferences that I can’t attend and they film many of the sessions and going through my iPhone camera roll I noticed I’ve screenshot’d and even screen recorded many of their stories.

Are they notified or told somehow by IG?

This is all through the IG so I’m wondering g what the answer is and if it would differ if I attempted the same from the Safari or Chrome or iCab web browser.

According to this Verge article, they don't do that anymore.

If you want my unwanted advice, I'd suggest to stop using Instaface and all those silly social media tools. Rarely does anything good come from them. In future, it's very easy to find out the answers to questions such as yours with a simple Google query. More often than not, most social services, should you choose to waste time on them, offer bountiful help sections to answer your questions, oftentimes with a search engine in their help section.
