Does iOS 18 support T9 texting?

I know it supports dialling. But does it support texting T9 like the old Nokias did?

That's for dialing, not text messaging.

I dont understand the concept of T9 dialling… do you not just dial numbers?

Someone could in theory create a custom T9 keyboard for typing, but I'm not sure if the iOS keyboard API is too restrictive. There may be options on the App Store if that's something you're after.
