Hi all,
As per title, I wondered if anyone has had any joy with this -
In iOS6, the "autodiscover" feature for Exchange accounts does not function correctly if the email address does not match the UPN (User Principal Name). For example, an external email address of malcolm@company.com but the UPN is malcolm@domain.local.
An awful lot of businesses are set up this way, and the idea of the autodiscover service is that a user chooses "Microsoft Exchange" when adding a new mail account, puts in the email address and password and the server details will fill themselves in. As it stands, in iOS6 this cannot be done if there is an email/UPN mismatch.
Is anyone running an iOS7 beta, who works for a company using Exchange where your email address is not the same as your UPN? If so, does autodiscover work on iOS7?
Cheers.
Additionally, is anyone willing to go to Settings > Mail, Contacts... > Add Account... > Microsoft Exchange and screenshot the initial credentials screen for me?
