I really like the simplicity and snappiness of the built in weather app, but there's one thing I can't understand. Why doesn't it tell you how much snow is in the forecast? Or...does it? Am I missing it somewhere???

When it's going to snow I always want to know how much...helps me determine whether or not to stay in or travel, e.g.

Am I missing it or do I really have to load up a third party weather app to get this information?

Please advise. Thank you for your time.

Hi Eric. To answer to your question nope the stock weather app doesn't show how much snow will fall for that day

Quick question! Why are you asking about snow in JUNE?

Same reason people from Australia talk about hurricanes in January.

The forecast is usually wrong in my area anyway. They call for 3-6 inches and we get a foot.

weather channel app > apple weather

the stock weather app is one of those many useless apps

Yep, I use Weather Channel over the stock app. It's reasonably accurate, and I like that it pushes weather alerts from the national weather service. Very useful in Kansas!

Check out weather pro, has lots of information about the exact amount of snow and rain you can expect.
