Does iOS8 let us customize app notifications a bit more?

For example, I'd still like to get the same notifications that I get from the eBay app currently. I want the banners to pop down so I can see them, but I don't want the phone to vibrate. It doesn't seem like there's a way to disable vibrate only, is there?

Are the notification center settings for each app the same as in iOS7? Thanks!

No dice, sorry. Same as iOS 7. Can't change vibrate or specify a custom sound.

Indeed. The one improvement in iOS is that now each app's notification settings has a master switch, so you can disable them entirely in one tap without having to change all three settings individually.
