I think I read how only certain Resident Evil games run on the 15 Pro only. Obviously the 16 Pro will now run them too. But can the regular 16 play those games?

I'm thinking of getting a non-Pro model simply for the weight and saw that the regular 16 has much higher scores for single and multi-core compared to the 15 Pro but the GPU is slightly down. Amazingly the A18 isn't that far off from the A18 Pro.

Sorry but those benchmarks aren't accurate. My 15PM scored much higher in single and multi-core than that MBK photo. My multi-core is higher than the regular 16 due to the fact it has one more core than the regular 16. The 16 will run Resident Evil 4 fine

I see what you're saying, I just checked iOS Geekbench and you're correct. Regardless, the vanilla 16 is still more powerful than the 15PM in single and multi-core. Point isn't to bash the 15PM btw, mentioning because I want to make sure the regular 16 can handle RE just as good as the 15PM.

Thanks. I also have the 14 Pro, stinks that the A16 Bionic isn't powerful enough.
Yeah, that kind of sucks. If you want to play that specific game then I guess it’s worth it. I wouldn’t mind playing it, but I’m not going to spend money on a new phone just yet. I suspect the game would run if Apple allowed it, but it would be a stutter show. Apple will avoid having something like this because people will complain more about that then just not being able to play it.
