I am considering purchasing the Bose Sounddock II
for my iPhone 3GS.

The problem is, according to their compatibility list,
that model is not supported.

I also can't seem to find any information via Google
as to whether people are having playback issues or
not with the 3GS.

Sort of concerned here because the Sounddock II
was released in 2008 prior to the 3GS.

Can anyone confirm if it works? Thanks in advance.

3Gs and Bose

So I have yet to upgrade to the 3Gs, however, I own a Bose Sounddock original and to get it to work with the 3G you need a charge converter. From what I have read on some other forums, it seems the same charge converter should work with the 3Gs.

You can find other charge converters at other websites.

Alternatively, bring your 3Gs into a Bestbuy, they tend to have Sounddock II's on display, and you should be able to test it there.

Thank you for this valuable information.

The product page you specified doesn't seem
to have a picture of what the connector looks
like and I am curious to see it.

Bose just announced a new SoundDock today with shielding to work with the iPhone.
