Apple stopped using Gorilla Glass since iPhone 4 i think. Maybe even earlier.

Corning has supplied Gorilla Glass I to Apple for the 4 and 4S and now supplies Gorilla Glass II to Apple for the iPhone 5.

I hope you're right. After using the S3, the iPad 3rd gen screen just feels awful to the touch, just not smooth at all. Where as the S3 screen glides beautifully across the thumb/finger and accumulates extremely little in the way of finger prints.

I think the iPad screen feels very good to the touch.

On the subject of the iPhone 5, I really hope it has gorilla glass 2...
