Does iPhone back contain details of email accounts set up on phone

Hi,

Does anyone know if the iTunes backup files contain any information on the email accounts set up on that iPhone? I know that emails themselves are not stored on the iPhone and therefore are not backed up, but I thought maybe the actual account names (the email addresses of the iPhone owner's accounts) might be stored in some file somewhere in the backups?
