Does iPhone Fast Charge On MBP (2021)?

I used to have a MBP from 2012 and charging my iPhone 12 Pro Max used to take forever as I was sitting on the desk working. I used my new 14inch MBP for the first time today to charge it and it seems like the iPhone charges A LOT faster on the new MBP. Does it fast charge via usb-c on the MBP?

From what I've noticed it charges with 10+ Watts on average with the usb-c on the MBP. Better than the puny 5W adapter but nowhere as fast as the 18W adapter that I typically charge it with. Your 12 Pro Max might be charging faster than my 11 Pro. Keep Coconut Battery open while your iPhone's connected and charging to see the wattage at which it's charging for a better idea.
