Does anyone here know if the Skype for iPhone would care if I am talking on Wi-Fi calling a US number from outside of the country? I plan to visit Australia again soon, but do not want to come home to another $1,200 bill (DOH!)

No you just pay the regular Skype per-minute rate for calls to the US of $0.024 or you can get the $2.95 per month rate and make unlimited calls "to" the USA and Canada from any WiFi location World wide.

Depending on how long you will be on OZ and how many calls you plan to make the $2.95 plan is a very good deal.

I will be there for only two weeks, and I plan to get the plan anyway, to use when I return for usage on the computer when back at home.

Man I wished I figured out the monthly plan. Would have been easiest. But no Skype doesn't care where you call from.
