does it do 1080p video airplay ?

and can you install bbc iplayer or similar channel streamer apps to reflect it your tv ?

ipod touch seems quite inexpensive magic remote to my apple tv.
 
It does Airplay from speakers, like sending the audio from Pandora or the iPod app. It does not do Video Mirroring like an iPad.
