I've noticed that when I wake my Mac up, iStat Menus shows a load of CPU usage, which makes no sense because the Mac's CPU isn't doing anything in sleep mode unless there's some runaway process stopping it from actually sleeping.
I checked Activity Monitor and Console and didn't find any evidence of this, however.
So, my assumption is that when you put the Mac to sleep, iStat Menus just stops working until you wake it up again, so it doesn't show the non-existent CPU usage from while it was sleeping (which makes sense, because you wouldn't want iStat using up your battery on your sleeping Mac).
Can someone with more knowledge confirm this is the case so I know I don't have some sort of hanging/leaking program?
Thanks
