Does it have to be ON to Charge?

Hey everyone... has it always been like this or is it just watch OS3.

I used to turn on power reserve mode then charge it.

But there is no power reserve mode so I turned it off, but when I connect to the charger it turns itself on.

If i try to turn it off while charging 'power off' is not available.

It has always been on when charging (just like the iPhone and iPad). Why have you been waisting your time going into Power Reserve?
