Ok, so I'm prepping for my 6S. In the past i'd plug in to iTunes and take a backup and it will ask me if I want to backup Apps. Which I say yes to, but testing this process now it doesn't ask me to backup apps and when I did a test restore it restored all settings, photos, ect but Apps look to be downloading over the web which takes FOREVER these days with most Apps averaging over 50mb's each.
