does itunes recognise folder.jpg as primary album art?

hi

i am switching from PC to Mac and J River Media Centre to iTunes. On the PC i had my album art stored in each album folder and the cover of the album saved as folder.jpg. I have multiple artwork for many albums, and when i drag multiple images into iTunes to embed in an album's tracks, it seems to always choose folder.jpg as the primary image to display in Coverflow. I am wondering if this is a recognised feature of iTunes.
