...so i get this chain e-mail from a relative who claims most major lipstick brands contain some lead and that lead can cause cancer...has anyone heard this?

i go to medical websites, like healthcentral.com from dean edell md, and find that lead can cause a whole host of symptoms, none of which are cancer

and i find out lipstick has materials like lanolin and various petroleum products, if ingested in large amounts, can cause a ton of problems including coma and death, but nothing about cancer

how weird is this?

i forgot about snopes...great site...it addresses almost everything except a pervasive question that has bothered me about me private parts ;)
A great site indeed – it's always my first port of call when I get a daft email or some silly story is doing the rounds at work. Oh, and is this what you were wondering about, because if so it ain't what you're drinking that's causing it... :p ;)
