It says the same thing at, wait for it, the Logitech web site.

Forgive me for actually answering a two-week old question somebody posted that nobody bothered to answer.

Incidentally, here is the link the product page:

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/tablet-accessories/keyboards/devices/fold-up-keyboard-ipad

While the product page says it fits "iPad 2" it does not say that it does NOT fit iPad 3. Further, when this fold-up keyboard first released it was misleading because they did not clearly state that it did not fit the original iPad because it is called the "Fold-up Keyboard for iPad" -- several reviewers called the out. The system requirements for the product again say "iPad 2" but do not specifically note that the other iPad models are incompatible -- many take this to mean that perhaps the page simply has not been updated for the new iPad.

Anyway, here is the ZDNet article I found:

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/mobile-news/new-ipad-keyboard-case-update/7185

Can you provide a link to where on the logitech website it says it "does not for with the new iPad"? I found no official statement, only comments in Logitech's forums from users:
