Does Macbook Pro 13" suit my needs?

Hi,
I was wondering if you think a Macbook Pro 13" would suit my needs.

What I want:
Programming
Graphic and Web Design
Basic video editing with iMovie
Playing Full HD MKV files

I also would like to attach it to a 24" HD display.

I am concerned that the basic graphics card would mean it is not suitable?

I'm debating if I should sell my replacement late 2011 mbp15 and get MBP13 with cinema display or just two 13 mbp

With graphic design you may need more screen real estate.

I think you should be good. I use a 13" for playing full 1080p movies to my Samsung D8000. No problems.
