I own a MacBook Pro and I want to know if it came with an install disc in the box? If so, I seem to misplaced mine.

How can I get a copy of a restore disc for Lion?
I have mountain lion installed.

You could scout eBay or CL to look for the USB Flash Memory drive, that Apple sold for a while for 69 USD. Otherwise, there is not really a legal way to get Mac OS X 10.7 Lion anymore. That is Apple for you, they stop selling old software once new one is out and about, except with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, which could have been bought via the Online Store for quite a while after Mac OS X 10.7 Lion was released.

I see, but I assume ML can be redownloaded from the app store? Will this allow me to do a fresh install?

You can create a bootable USB and do a clean install. As far as lion goes, if your macbook pro came with lion pre-installed then it should have a recovery partition from which you can restore lion.

Ok, thanks. Also, if I use an 8GB flashdrive, can I put Word documents on that same drive or is it only allowed to be used for Mountain Lion/Lion? Also, I cant seem to find my download of Mountain Lion, can I re-download it? Basically, I cant find the installer app for mountain lion.

You haven't said which model MBP you have. If it came with Lion, then you can use Internet Recovery to reinstall Lion. When you download and install Mountain Lion, the installer program is automatically deleted. You can reinstall Mountain Lion by using the recovery partition (this could also have been used to reinstall Lion before upgrading to Mountain Lion). You can re-download the Mountain Lion upgrade by holding down the Option key when you click on the Purchases tab.

You can partition the USB, but Im not sure the exact size that the installer uses. You could do 6GB and 2GB partitions and save your files on the 2GB and use the 6GB to create the bootable ML OS. But you cannot transfer your files onto one partition with the ML install, wont work.

If you downloaded ML from the mac app store, then it should be in your Applications directory. Try this guide, it has a little more info.

If you dont find the installer app, just re download using the same Apple ID login in Mac App store, it wont charge you again.
