Hi Guys,

I just heard the rumour that all the new range of MBP (2.2 Ghz & 2.4 Ghz) uses a Perpendicular technology for their Hard drive. Is this true ?

If so, what about the custom made like 160 GB (7500/5400 rpm), 200 GB (4200 rpm), and 250 GB (7200 rpm) ? what those 'rpm' stand for ?

This link explained about Perpendicular:

rpm = revolutions per minute

Just about all HDDs in Apple portables have moved over to perpendicular tech. And yes, the latest MBPs do use it.
