Does MagSafe work on AW?

It is always a hassle to pack multiple charger cables when traveling. I wish Apple would make a charger that works for both AW and iPhone...

How about Airpods?
Works with AirPods. Any Qi wireless capable device works.
Nope. As mentioned above, the watch is the only wireless charging device that isn't qi. That may change next year with the Series 7
Are people really charging their devices one by one when travelling abroad, even when they share the same port?
For me, even if say, all my devices sported usb C, I would still bring one cable for each of them. And the problem here is that charging hubs with multiple usb c ports are few and expensive.
So I am not really saving any bulk either way. I could pack 2 lightning cables for my iPhone and AirPods, a usb-c cable for my iPad Pro, a puck for my Apple Watch, and charge them all using an Anker USB hub.
Or I could pack 4 usb c cables and 4 usb c charging bricks.
Either way, I don’t see how I am saving on bulk here.
Easy works fine with air pods.

Well that’s what they have made the magsafe duo charger but who knows when that is out.
As well as iPads, I’d like to see MacBooks use the new MagSafe eventually.
Edit: oh yeah, when you said MagSafe duo, I immediately thought of a double sided MagSafe puck. So you put your phone face down, snap the puck to it’s back and drop the AirPods on top. Both charge overnight. Wonder if we’ll ever see something like that?

AW is not QI compatible, so no. Magsafe is Qi compatible with some mod that allows higher amp charging
