Hi,

I have a 3 year old macbook, one feature I love about it is the charge indicators on the battery that let you see at an instant how much power the battery has when it is charging, without opening the macbook.

Do the current 13" MBP's have this feature?, I'm just wondering if having a built in battery mean it has lost this great feature? also do current MB's have this ability?

I wouldn't mind upgrading my MB, but if it means loosing the battery indicator feature I'll probably just keep using it until it dies.

Thanks for reading,

Julie

There's an indicator built into the left side of the all the unibody's, including the older ones with the removable battery. It's a little button and a row of green LEDs that tells you current charge. Go to apple.com/macbookpro, and click on the last picture in the Gallery to see it.

Hi,

Many thanks for the quick replies, thats great to hear, looks like I'm getting myself a new MBP
