Does My3G or 3G unrestrictor work for 4OD/ITV player?

Has anyone had success using either to unrestrict 4OD or ITV player apps on iPhone? I've added both apps to the list but they don't seem to do anything, with or without the isdirect flag option, while iTunes/AppStore are unrestricted.

I understand that iPlayer can't be unrestricted because it checks by IP address, but 4OD/itv works when I tether iPad 2 to iPhone, so it must have a different method.

Just wondering if it's me or they actually can't be unrestricted. I'm using iOS 5.0.1.
