Does new Penryn MBP support 800mhz ram?

I was thinking of picking up 2x Kingston 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz SODIMM Memory.

The Penryn macbooks have a bit of an issue downclocking 800mhz ram down to the appropriate 667 mhz.

If I were you I would get the pc5400, unless you wish to get a little adventurous. Then you can purchase the pc6400 and manually reflash , which is what I had to do.

Read somewhere that somebody bought the PC6400 from OCZ and it didn't work on their MBP

Why not just buy the memory that's specified for your MBP?
