I'm assuming they do and if so, I wonder how I can find and obtain a couple of News footages from the 80s that I was a part of. Anyone knows how?

Does News Networks save all there footages from the past?

Contact the network(s) and ask? But depending on the format of that broadcast, the footage might already be lost. 20 years is a lot for storing videotapes, not many take proper precautions to do so.
Is there some kind of broadcasting archive in the country you live in? Maybe you can contact them.
