I just use Neooffice and I have been happy with it. I have used Openoffice on PC before and when hunting down the Mac version it looked as if development was lagging behind the PC version, so I just said said forget about it, not really worth the bother.

Yeah, I use NeoOffice as well. Constantly under development, and works/looks better than OpenOffice.org. And indeed, development of OOo for the Mac (via X11) is lagging behind it's Linux and Windows cousins. It's kind of a redheaded stepchild to them.

ok then neo office it is :D

i couldn't get open office to install anyways and i don't wanna take out my mac os install dvd now so neo office it is thx to all of u

There was one annoyance I should warn you about though. For the first few weeks whenever I would open it, it would also open up a browser page to the Neooffice homepage. Mine just went away by itself, but maybe Raven VII knows how to disable it from the start.

Maybe it wanted you to download the latest patches...?

Keep in mind that NeoOffice is OpenOffice with a native Cocoa interface instead of the crappy X11 interface that looks sooooo ugly on a Mac...
