Simple question:

Power Mac G5, running 10.5.8.

I have an iPhone 5 and am about to upgrade it to iOS 7 from iOS 6.1.3.

I currently use PhoneView 2.8.4 (the latest version) to access files and stuff. I connect my phone to my G5 with a lightning cable.

I use Image Capture (Apple's built in utility) to grab photos from my iPhone as if it were a normal digital camera.

Can anybody confirm that PhoneView works with an iPhone 5 running iOS7?

According to their website the latest version is 2.9.4. Below is the version history, it looks like you need a newer version for iOS7 support:

9/19/13 - v2.9.4: Fixes two issues reported by v2.9.3 users.

9/18/13 - v2.9.3: Adds iOS 7 appearance for Messages mode. Improves loading speed. Fixes a display issue with Photos mode and Contacts mode in OS X 10.9. Fixes an issue where some iTunes backups were not listed. Other minor fixes.

7/16/13 - v2.9.2: Fixes an issue that could prevent Messages mode from loading. Adds initial support for iOS 7.

Confirmed that 2.8.4 works on PPC 10.5.8 with an iPhone 5 and Lightning cable running iOS 7.

Also: thanks for the reply; it does seem that 2.9.4 is the latest version but my copy said no update was available, their site does say that 2.9.4 requires an Intel Mac so maybe that's why.
