Does reinstalling iTunes delete my playlist/view settings?

I have a problem with my view slider being fuzzy, and others have said that reinstalling iTunes fixes this. I have spentages organizing my playlists, will reinstalling mess this up? (e.g. Autosizing columns etc) Thanks

Inside the Music folder (inside your home directory), there are two files you might want to back up first:

iTunes Music Library.xml
iTunes Library

If reinstalling iTunes messes up your playlists -- which it should not -- you can still use the backup files.
