Last time I removed LaunchDaemons (the safe ones to delete for my ipod touch 2g) and the language packs I didn't need, I encountered a problem. I got a message saying:
"iTunes cannot read the contents of [My] iPod Touch" Then it told me to restore.
I did try and fix it by deleting iTunesDB, but that took away all my music in my library and put it as unused data in the "Other" category. Also, I tried renaming the folder "iTunes_Control" and that fixed it temporarily, but later when I plugged my iPod Touch back in, I encountered the same problem. Is it me deleting LaunchDaemons (the safe ones to delete) that is causing that problem, or is it deleting the languages I don't use?
P.S. I ended up having to restore to get rid of the unused data.
Thanks!
