Does restoring from iCloud backup make a new iPhones battery worse?

I was wondering because I am getting a new replacement iPhone 5 tomorrow and the past two iPhones (4S and current 5) I had were restored from an iCloud back up and got about five hours total of battery life.

Its more likely to be your settings rather than the backup.
