Does Safari support toolbars?

There aren't as many add-ons or plug-ins. There is a Google search box built in though. If you tell us specifically what else you're after, we might be able to point you in the right direction. 
PimpMySafari.com is a great resource for Safari plug-ins. The only one I use is (the awesome) Inquisitor

Guys - thanks for the quick replies! I am a developer and as such am really just trying to get a feel for what Safari has to offer. I want to try to write a "toolbar" but was told that Safari doesn't support them. But now that I see some of the screenshots on PimpMySafari.com, it seems that it would support at least some kind of hybrid app.
One question would be, what are the limitations of Safari extensions compared to FF extensions? Isn't the concept the same for both (the browser GUI is part of the DOM that you can manipulate)?
