Does security update als include the previous fixes?

I just installed an ssd in my Mom's mac Mini mid 2010. I made a bootable USB with a copy of El Capitan. All went smooth, installed El Cap and transferred all files, applications and settings over to the new configuration using migration assistent. After that I opened the App Store to download the latest updates. So security update 2018-002 prompted (along with updates for safari, itunes etc) but now I'm wondering, does that include alle the previous fixes from 2018-001, 2017-005 etc as well? Is it like a combo/delta installer for OS updates?
