Does Siri drain battery when on buy not used?

I've done a cursory search but haven't been able to find anything definitive. A lot of Websites suggest that you should turn off Siri to conserve battery but what if Siri is turned on but not used. does that increase battery usage in any way?

No, if you're not using it its not using battery by just sitting there.
