I haven't installed iOS 6 on my iPad 3 yet. Does Siri replace Dictation? I think I would like to use Siri at times and Dictation other times. Can someone tell me how this works? Would someone post a screen shot of the iPad 3 iOS 6 keyboard?

Thanks.

It works the same on the iPad 3 as it does on the iPhone 4S. The iPad 5 iOS 6 keyboard looks exactly the same as the iOS 5 keyboard.

Dictation is basically a feature of Siri.

Basically you get dictation and other Siri features with iOS 6.

Dictation is still a function available via keyboard within text fields. Siri is separate.

Thanks.

I don't have an iPhone so I don't know how it works. When does it just type what I say versus trying to get me an answer?

P.S.
I didn't see triptolemus's answer until after I posted this.
