So it looks like you can only order max 1 watch if you set up an appointment, and if all appointments have to go through the apple store online to buy a watch, does that mean we can only buy max 1 watch tonight?

No. Online orders with home shipment have a limit of three per person, so you could go that route.

I just contacted Apple store support about the order limit for purchase via shipping only

Here was the response I got

As of today we do not have those details, so you will want to check back later today for updates.

So, if you need more then one, you will just need to make two different orders with two different Apple ID’s

So my guess is 1 per customer whether you are picking up or having it shipped.

i contacted Apple just now and was told there's no restriction. so any amount you like

Unless something's changed, the current official statement is that there is a limit of 1 per customer.

"Inventory is subject to change. Your reservation is valid for pickup only at the Apple Retail Store that you selected. If you do not pick up your selected item(s) by the designated date and time, your reservation will be cancelled and your item(s) will be returned to stock. There is a maximum of 1 reservation per customer. Number of reservations may be limited. Apple reserves the right to refuse, limit or cancel a reservation if Apple determines that a customer has provided misleading or fraudulent information and/or abused, disrupted or attempted to circumvent the reservation system."

Obviously these conflict. Everyone should assume it's one per order.

In store pick up is the only thing with an actual limit that we know of, and that limit is 1.

That's for reservation appointments. One reservation appointment per customer. It says nothing about how many watches you can buy.

Beaten to the punch. This point was lost to some.

# of Watches =/= # of Reservations

So you're saying there's no limit on how many one can buy? Do you have a source for that?

Just to be safe, me and my wife are all setup to order separately tonight.

no one knows how many you can order. At least no one on these boards.

According to 9to5Mac, they say that a "reader" states that Tim Cook has stated that the limit to purchase is 2. This sounds like here say, but whatever:

A number of units will be delivered on the 24th but it is unlikely every unit ordered tomorrow will be delivered on the 24th. This depends on how many units are ordered for a specific SKU compared to the supply we have of that specific SKU. This isn’t different from other new products. Sometimes demand exceed supply for a period of time. I can assure you we are working around the clock to get as many units to customers as fast as possible.
There will be an order limit of 2.

The Badger fans and team were very classy. Of course, I loved the outcome but it was one of those games either team could have won.

I am SO glad all speculation ends in 11 hours. We will know what is available AND what the supply looks like. I am surprised no one has posted who is IN line somewhere for a try on.

How is

# of Watches =/= # of Reservations

the same as

Infinite = # of Watches =/= # of Reservations
