I realize the App Store is distinct from the iTunes store, so does the $100 only work on what is sold within the App Store or can I buy a few TV seasons with the cash? I was hoping to pick up the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm with the money.

No. I saw the ad on the website but I did not inquire further. I had the forums up, so figured I'd ask here.
