Does the 12"PB's lid bend?

I have seen heaps of posts on here complaining about the 12PB's lid bending. So when closed it doesn't sit quite straight.

Someone also mentioned that the 12"ier will wake up from sleep periodically for no reason. Perhaps related to having a bent lid?

How bad is this problem really? Should I start to handling my 12PB with kid gloves? Not that I'm rough with it, but I don't won't to have to worry about breaking it.

Okay so show of hands all you 12PB owners, how many of you are having problems with this?

I was curious about this too, so I tried to moderately flex a display model's screen. While I didn't want to force it, this one felt rather sturdy.
Aluminum, in the automotive market, is notorious for its tendancy to warp with time and heat. I don't know how the alloy that apple uses is affected by this.

I also tested a display model, it seems pretty sturdy, although over time that might change.
