Does the 13 air get hot in lap, I like to lay down and browse and I watch
a lot of Netflix , I been looking at the 13 MBP for some time then the
new air came out that got me thinking? I don't rent DVDs much anymore
so the lighter 13air really is starting to make a lot of sense.

Not mine. Cool

Mine gets slightly warm toward the back (by slightly I mean about 5-7 degrees higher than when it's off) after I've been using it for a while. My 13" MBP was a hand-warmer, so this is pretty good.

I've had my 13 inch MBA for a little over two weeks and it has yet to get uncomfortably warm. According to iStat, its warmest component is the CPU at 42C. That is far, far cooler than any of my MBP's components have ever been.
